A Little Bit About Me
Asalaamu Alaikum. Firstly !I would like to write that I am visually impaired. I was born without the ability to see. In 1996, my parents gave me the entire quran cassette set. then in 1998, I started memorising the holy Quran. I memorise the holy Quran just by listening to the audio tapes. I completed in 2006. It was my parents wish that I should further my studies in Islam. In 1997, my father had heard about the Islamic school of education for the visually impaired. This school was in South Africa and it was the only visually impaired school that taught blind people on how to learn the Quran in the language of Braille. They also taught students to learn ‘Alimiyah. So in 2009, when I had completed my circular education, I applied to study in that school in South Africa. So I left the United Kingdom and in 2010 started my Islamic journey in South Africa. I qualified in 2015 and I came back and started to teach in my local masjid. I had also acquired a load of independent skills whilst studying abroad. I was able to travel by myself on the plane get from A2B by myself and also learnt about how to be independent.
My first job was teaching haffiz to young children, I was teaching a class of 30 kids for 8 years. Due to the Covid pandemic, I was not able to teach in my local mosque. so I started my own private madressa in my home Alhamdulillah. I am the eldest of 6 siblings and only one with visual impairment. I am also the Immam in a masjid as well.
My hobbies are: travelling, listening to books, socialising, with friends, and family, swimming, going out to eat. I do travel by myself as well. I travel by trains and cabs and I like my independence. I am very easy-going, down-to-earth, humble, understanding, caring, never get angry or lose my temper. I don’t like arguments, dishonesty, keeping secrets, and also dramas. I will give you more info when we start talking.

I always dress in the most simplest of clothing. I wear the Jubbah.
