A Little Bit About Me
I am a born Canadian citizen of Bengali heritage. My peers and teachers have always described me as polite and optimistic. I am frank but tactful in speech. By the grace of Allah, I hold a Master's degree in Islamic theology. I have always excelled in my studies and have cultivated an inclination for reading since a young age.
If I were to describe myself in one word it would be passion. I am intensely passionate about all that I do, whether it pertain to academics, social welfare or simple hobbies such as traveling or tea drinking. I attach paramount importance to the well being of my family.
I am a person that resolutely avoids conflict regardless of whether it be on a personal or communal level. "It is from the beauty of a person's Iman to leave that which does not concern him" -Hadith
Through Allah's grace, I relocated to Chicago in July 2018 to accept a teaching position at an Islamic Seminary. I am also a part time student with plans to pursue further studies in university inshAllah.
