A Little Bit About Me
Thanks for clicking on my profile, this part will have to be a work in progress - some random things about me that come to mind:

I am a public sector accountant desperate not to become attached to my paperless, cloud-synched desk and spreadsheets. That said, I do enjoy discussing the political/economical/social challenges of the public sector in the current climate. I was fortunate to work in Brixton over a number a years, then Russell Square and now the cold environment of Victoria. I find it interesting how much of a sensitive matter it is to balance growth of an area against dealing with social exclusion (or gentrification).

I love to relax in cafes (chain or independent) reading the news or with a book.

I enjoy trying out new places to eat but I usually end up visiting the same old familiar joints.

I'm a grappling/mma aficionado and love how much of a human game of chess it is.

I bake, in fact I've been baking since I was in school. Currently working to perfect a French Chocolate cake with different fillings. (Also recently discovered how to a make chocolate mousse with only water and chocolate.)

I don't like wet grass or any grass in fact so I'm not the rugged backpacking type.

I enjoy the old comedies such as Only Fools and Horses, Porridge, Laurel and Hardy as well as "newer" stuff such as Frasier, Friends and The Inbetweeners.

I'm a huge fan of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels and of course the movies. I thought Casino Royal was great for taking Bond back to the character as per the original novels and also thought Quantum of Solace was a pretty decent sequel to the rebooted series.
