Don't wait for me to contact you, make the first move! It's hard to look through so many profiles with blurred out pictures so I might miss you!
** Wait! Don't click away just yet! Still there? Okay cool! **
I come from a great family and work in our family shop and growing property business. I have two brothers and no sisters. Praise to Allah both of my parents are alive and well. I have no physical disabilities and no food allergies.
Masters degree in Psychology - but I can't read someone's mind, so don't ask! 🤣
**Are you still there? Great, carry on!**
It's my goal to make people laugh. I have good standards and like to keep organised. I try to stay humble, well-mannered and do things the halal way.
Family speak Punjabi and Urdu. I'm not going to pretend that I'm fluent but I speak Punjabi daily at work for my job.
If I'm at home it will be either Playstation, Netflix or Youtube. I'm also a keen photographer, so I'll always bring my camera with me to events or when I visit a new place for scenic shots. I also follow news and politics. Sports? I support Arsenal FC in The Premier League and I also follow Valencia in the Spanish League. I also enjoy cricket and pool (can strike with either hand)
I love going to the cinema and keep up to date with my friends. I haven't travelled much but it's something I want to do and share that with someone special.
One day I want to build my own house. I can see myself achieving this in the next 10-15 years.
** simple stuff out of the way, now some important stuff **
Islam and how "halal":
At the moment I don't pray 5 times a day but I'm always improving. My family always pray Maghrib together and I'm usually the one leading the prayer. In bigger family gatherings (BBQs and parties etc.) I'll still be the one leading the prayer which I'm proud to do. I always attend Jummah (Friday) prayers.
I keep all of my fasts during Ramadan and try to go for Tarawih.
I pay zakat during Ramadan and also on my birthday.
I have never taken drugs, smoked or drank alcohol. If someone passes me a shisha pipe, I will pass it onto someone else and say no thanks (because my dad is watching me lol)
I'm great with kids, my brother and his wife have two young toddlers and I play with them daily. I would like children too Insha'Allah - not immediately after marriage, but would talk about how we feel after one year. Our parents will be pushing for grandchildren ASAP so watch out!
We tend to view others as a finished product but view ourselves as a work in progress.
- Someone who knows what they can bring into a marriage.
- Someone who supports and understands the stresses of work and can also be the one to take my mind off it. She needs to understand the value of money and love the family oriented environment.
- I'll be happy and respect you a lot more if you make the first move and contact me. I might not see you in my searches so don't miss this opportunity. Jazakallah.
