What do the Message Icons in my Inbox / Sent Messages folders mean? The message icons that appear next to each message in you Inbox / Sent Message folder, show the current status of that message as follows:
Standard Inbox Message Icons:
(flashing red envelope)
A new, unopened message.
(red envelope)
An unopened message.
(green envelope)
A message that has been read.
(green envelope with a arrow)
A message that has been read and replied to.
Additional Sent Message Icons:
(flashing red envelope with a cross through it)
An new, unread message that has been deleted by the receiver.
(red envelope with a cross through it)
An unread message that has been deleted by the receiver.
(green envelope with a cross through it)
A read message that has been deleted by the receiver.
(green envelope with a blue arrow and a cross through it)
A message that has been replied to and deleted by the receiver.
Other Message Icons:
(little people icon)
Correspondent, you have sent and received messages with this user.
(line through user icon)
User Blocked, you have blocked this user and will not receive new messages from them.
(user name crossed out)
This user has left our service, you are no longer able to contact them. -
